This adapter can be used with the SED-858 or any TASCAM compatiable connector. It can be used to input or output either analog or digital audio with the SED-858. The opposite sex connectors on each end allows this adapter to be used as a breakout connection. When plugged into a TASCAM connector the opposite end allows an existing cable to be connected straight though the adapter.
