HLASDE-3000 or HDE-3000/2 SD/HD SDI closed caption encoder. The HDE-3000 has been around for a few years and has always drawn attention during NAB. We showed several new features and a new look on the front panel. New features include a ew menu layout that is more user friendly, software upgrades through USB flash drive,  dual transcoder menus allowing user control of what’s converted to 708, encoding service descriptor change to comply with latest specs. HDC-925 HD up/down/cross converter with Hollywood quality video that will not lose captions including video enhancement and proc. amp. and noise reduction. Interest was very high on the HDC-925. Read the TV Technology article

LEI-592 IP Caption Processor, Caption over the internet. Eliminate phone lines. This product received a great deal of interest during the show.

HDG-821 HD Master Sync generator. The HDG-821 created a lot of attention because it can now generate Bi-level Sync and Tri-level Sync, allowing synchronizing HD and SD with one unit. Additional updates allow the following: AES11(DARS) output, active test patterns, unit identification, video information display, audio information display, NTSC/PAL auto detection, embedded audio on the SDI stream, digital and analog outputs for all formats. PTC-892 SD closed caption encoder. The following menus have been added to the latest release; control codes out, tokenize CC codes, odd parity, duplicate CC codes, and control A commands process. 

LEI-599  The first stand-alone HD SD CC decoder.

The LEI-599 will accept HD SD SDI transport streams with embedded closed captions and other ancillary data and decode and re-insert those captions in the outgoing HD/SD-SDI stream so that the captions now appear during active video. Captions which appear in active video are called "Open" captions. CEA-608-B based streams will decode CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4 and text service T1. Text service T2, which is used by MSN-TV to transmit the internet links for their service, will not be decoded. Channel CC3 is now used to transmit the eXtended Data Service (XDS) packets and will be decoded to a front panel LCD display.

LEI-560 Analog to SDI conversion. This is another of the 500 series product family. Up  to three of the 500 or 700 seeries may be mounted in the PRT-700 rack tray.
